Topics include the study of polynomial, absolute value, radical, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions, analytic geometry, solutions and applications of equations, inequalities and systems. The study of trigonometric functions, their inverses and graphs, trigonometric identities, proofs, solving trigonometric equations, and solving triangles using right triangle trigonometry, the Law of Cosines, and the Law of Sines. An introduction to polar coordinates and conics also included. Students enrolled in Math 149 are eligible to concurrently enroll in Math 149C: Support for Precalculus for Future STEM Majors.
