Taken together, MATH 117A and MATH 117B are collectively equivalent to MATH 117, Elementary Statistics. Topics include sampling distributions, Central Limit Theorem, statistical inference, confidence interval estimation, tests of hypotheses, correlation and linear regression, Chi-square, one-way ANOVA, and multiple comparisons procedure.
