    Description
    A historical survey of diverse religious movements in the United States from the colonial era to the present. This course will examine the ways in which religious groups creatively and dynamically interacted with, impacted, and were shaped by political, socioeconomic, cultural, and geographical developments within American society. Woven throughout this course will be a concentration on the conflicts, tension, and creativity within overarching key themes that are central to the historical study of the American religious landscape.
