- Introductory survey course which explores humankind's cultural diversity through the application of contemporary anthropological theories and perspectives. Based on the premise that studying others enables us to see ourselves better. Culture is analyzed, and the basic principles of the discipline are examined critically. Emphasis on reading and discussing selections from classic and contemporary research, and producing original research projects.
