Students explore periods, styles, and genres of theatre through play reading, discussion, film viewing, and by attending and evaluating live theatre productions. The course focuses on the relationship of theatre to various cultures and historical periods, and on the contributions of significant theatre artists and companies. (C-ID THTR 111)
