Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionStudents will receive a review of the core prerequisite skills, competencies, and concepts needed in Calculus I with Analytic Geometry. Intended for majors in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, who are concurrently enrolled in MATH 71 Calculus I with Analytic Geometry. Topics include a review of fundamental algebra skills, a review of functions including composition of functions and inverse functions, quadratic functions, polynomial functions, rational functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions and trigonometric functions. This course is appropriate for students who are confident in geometry and algebra skills, and is recommended for those who are advised to receive additional academic and concurrent support. Students are encouraged to meet with an academic counselor.
