- Description
- Students are introduced to mill setup skills used by setup machinists. Students study the types and classes of jigs and fixtures and their application to sample simple parts. Students will demonstrate setting up the workholding on a machine tool, modelling the workholding and part in CAD/CAM. Students will also evaluate workholding costs.
