Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionStudents will focus on the practical application of writing and producing news using the City College Times, the college student newspaper, in print, online, and social media. Students will plan and produce a publication for the college student body. Students will work in the following areas: researching, writing, and editing articles; taking photographs and creating graphic illustrations; developing multimedia stories; or designing pages, and advertising. Ethics and legal aspects of communication will also be covered. Students are encouraged to consume commercial news on a daily basis and to commit the time needed to produce the news publication.
