- Students will be introduced to the basic conceptual vocabulary used in the perception and descriptive analysis of dance, music, theater, and visual art in this interdisciplinary course. Students will use these concepts to interpret art objects in the artist's context and the perceiver's context. Examples presented are chosen for their artistic integrity and cultural diversity. Field trips at live art events may be required.
