    This course is a historical survey of the United States from the end of the Civil War to the present. The course also introduces students to historical reasoning skills. This is an honors course. This honors course highlights student research, writing, and reporting. Students will also learn the processes of California state and local government. This course was formerly known as HIST 017BH: Honors History of the United States.
