The course also introduces students to historical reasoning skills. This is an honors course. This honors course focuses on critical reading and writing, and the preparation of research papers and student presentations and collaborations. This course also emphasizes student research, writing, and reporting to the instructor and, where possible, presenting to the class or a group of interested individuals. This course was formerly known as HIST 017AH: Honors History of the United States.
