Through examination of selected works, students will recognize the immense contribution Shakespeare's texts have had, and continue to have, in the modern world's literary, artistic, and cultural compositions. This course is designed to increase the awareness on the part of the student with regards to the contributions Shakespeare's works have had on society, and to increase the appreciation of those works' influence and artistic construction.
