National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) skills testing is included in the course. Upon successful course completion the student will be prepared to take a National Registry written exam through a NREMT approved testing site. This course meets state and national standards for EMT-B training and is approved by Santa Clara County Emergency Medical Services as preparation for EMT-B certification. Students must provide own transportation to a mandatory ride-along and clinical experience.
