Students cover topics including hardware, application and system software, the internet and World Wide Web, communications, e-commerce, societal issues, database management, systems analysis and design, programming, information systems, career opportunities, certifications in the computer field, and computer trends. Student get hands-on practice of introductory level skills in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation graphics, and use of the internet.
