Transfers ToCSUDescriptionAs the third course in the Technest Coding Academy, students are exposed to the emerging platform called the Internet of Things (IoT). Topics include: exploration of the convergence of multiple disciplines leading to modern smartphones; exploring the emerging IoT platform, enabling unprecedented, innovative products and services; learn how information from physical devices in the real world gets communicated to smartphone processors; interfacing common sensors and actuators to hardware; developing software to acquire sensory data, process the data and actuate stepper motors, LEDs, etc. for use in mobile-enabled products.
