    Description
    Students will develop an appreciation of the visual arts, aesthetics, and creative process. They are introduced to the analysis of art in terms of form, function, process, content, and themes. Students receive a broad overview of the visual arts, its elements and principles, media, techniques, and terminology. Students will also examine the role of art criticism and aesthetics in a historical and cultural context. Field trips may be required. (C-ID ARTH 100)
