They will learn frequently used sentence patterns that allow them to communicate on a basic level utilizing their reading and writing skills; and students will learn and appreciate diverse Arabic culturally appropriate practices.The Arabic taught in this course is Modern Standard Arabic (MSA); however, references will be made to major dialects in the Arab World (Levantine & Egyptian).
