Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionStudents will review the challenges facing addicted criminal justice clients. Addicted offenders may require help meeting basic life needs, such as finding housing, applying for a job, or cooking a meal. Students will explore the use of motivational interviewing to assist clients to manage their feelings, control impulses, and work toward concrete goals. Students will explore strategies and techniques which include confronting manipulation and setting boundaries.
