    This course is designed to serve students who need basic welding skills. The course covers basic theory, practice and application of metal joining processes, metal cutting, and welding for ferrous and nonferrous metals and alloys. Welding methods include shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene (O/A), and an introduction to gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW).
