    This is the second course in the recording series. This lecture and "hands-on" lab class builds on topics covered in MUSIC 42A . It focuses on digital recording techniques, large format mixing consoles, basic and advanced microphone placement, session procedures, and mixdown. The entire recording process is covered from preproduction to mastering. Students gain experience by performing tracking, overdub, and mixing sessions.
