    Description
    Studies statistical concepts including frequency distributions, measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability, confidence intervals, hypotheses testing, linear correlation and regression, chi-square, ANOVA, non-parametric tests. Credit may be earned in MTH 209W or MTH 209AW, but not both. A SPECIFIC GRAPHING CALCULATOR IS REQUIRED. This course is designed for students who need practice in foundational skills while engaging in college-level study of mathematics and problem-solving skills. Class sessions and assignments will reinforce prerequisite skills and topics through embedded support and just-in-time remediation.
