    This course is one of two courses designed for the pre-service elementary teacher. The course focuses on the development of quantitative reasoning skills through in-depth, integrated explorations of topics in mathematics, including measurement, geometry and introductory probability and statistics. Throughout the course, accurate use of mathematical terminology and notation will be emphasized.
