Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is designed primarily for the student studying business, life science, social science, or engineering technology who wishes an overview of the practical aspects of Calculus, rather than the more rigorous development found in the three-semester sequential Calculus series (MATH 1, 2, 3). This course includes lab time to provide just-in-time review of prerequisite skills, extra content instruction, and active learning opportunities to support student learning. Graphing calculators may be required. Since MATH 13EX and MATH 13 are equivalent courses, credit may be awarded for either MATH 13EX or MATH 13 but not both.
