Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course may be taken concurrently or may have been taken in the semester immediately prior. This course is designed for the student participating in an occupational internship in industrial technology. Application of discipline-related skills and knowledge of Secretaries Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills (SCANS) competencies is emphasized. Each student is engaged in a specific research project or on-the-job learning activities under the supervision of a worksite supervisor and a college internship instructor. Students must work a minimum of 48 hours per unit earned. To register, complete an application form available at the Occupational Work Experience (OWE) Office, Holt 140.
