    Description
    In this course, students receive instruction in academic reading and writing, including writing processes, effective use of language, analytical thinking, and the foundations of academic research. Formerly ENG 1A. Since ENGL C1000 and ENGL C1000E are equivalent courses, credit may be awarded for either ENGL C1000 or ENGL C1000E but not both.
