    This course introduces the concepts and practice of elementary level tutoring in mathematics skills including developing conceptual understanding and the ability to scaffold instruction of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Students will work with students Kindergarten through 8th grade. A minimum of 45 hours of field experience is required. TB test and fingerprint clearances are required. This course is recommended for students considering a career in teaching.
