    Description
    This course is designed to prepare the student to teach in various types of early childhood education programs. Observing, planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate learning experiences are exercised as a student teacher in San Joaquin Delta College's Child Development Center or placement with a certified mentor teacher. Writing learning objectives, assessing children's behavior, and preparing a professional portfolio are required of all students.
