- Provides the knowledge and practice to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide/oxygen sedation in a safe and effective manner. Provides the opportunity to perform various local anesthetic injection techniques and administer nitrous oxide and oxygen to achieve conscious sedation at a clinical level of competency.
