    This course is designed for the student of Computer Science who is qualified to do advanced work to expand his/her knowledge beyond the established curriculum. The student selects or is assigned a project approved by a faculty member and the Dean. The student pursues the project through individual laboratory effort, research, or other advanced study and reports progress at scheduled meetings with the faculty member.
