    Description
    This course will allow students to demonstrate and understand what constitutes good literature, in terms of its philosophical, historical, literary, and cultural importance. This course is an introduction to the analysis, appreciation, and application of theories of interpretive performance of various forms of literature, including poetry, prose, and drama (plays, scripts, and screenplays). This course also examines how language and performance generate and communicate meaning from a theoretical, historical, critical, and aesthetic perspective.
