Introduces basic nursing skills, communication skills, restorative services, personal care skills, safety and emergency care issues. Includes knowledge and/or principles of asepsis, OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Examines ethical behaviors, cultural sensitivity and principles of mental health will be addressed, as well as patient/resident rights. Successful completion of CNA-100W & CNA-100LW is required to be eligible to take the State Competency Evaluation Exam.
