Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course is the third in a series of four performance ensembles that exposes students to various types and styles of gospel music from an African American perspective. Students learn to sing gospel pieces in a chorus setting at an intermediate level. Other topics include performance and stage deportment; historical and contemporary styles of gospel music; and critiques of individual and choral performances. This course is for students majoring in music or anyone with an interest in gospel music or singing.
