- This course meets the technical and driving requirements established by the State Fire Marshal for fire emergency vehicles. Topics include state code requirements for emergency vehicles; fire apparatus specifications and design; construction features; performance factors; basic inspection and maintenance of fire apparatus; and driving and placement exercises of pumpers.
