- This course is an intensive three-day training in swiftwater rescue skills. Course format consists of one day of classroom instruction followed by two days of developing and practicing water rescue skills. The course emphasizes self-rescue skills in swift moving water. Other topics include water dynamics; hazards and obstacles; basic rescue equipment; technical rope systems; and in-water contact rescue.
