Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course assists students in preparing for attending a State Fire Training (SFT) Firefighter 1 Fire Academy. The course includes simulated entry level firefighter skills, written exams, oral interviews and a variety of physical ability tests, including the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT), Biddle, and other firefighter physical ability examinations. Topics include general knowledge of firefighter principles in accordance with State Fire Training Firefighter 1 written and skills exams, principles of exercise, and task-specific exercise training.
