Topics include transmission types and powerflow; torque converter types and powerflow; disassembly; component inspection; reassembly; reusability guidelines; transmission shift control systems; troubleshooting procedures; and planetary gear ratio calculations for automatic transmissions used on Class 6 through Class 8 trucks.
