Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course introduces students to automotive climate control systems. Topics include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and related components. Students diagnose and repair common problems with climate control systems including manual, electronic, and vacuum controls; evacuation and recharging of air conditioning; and component replacement. Other topics include safety, environmental concerns, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 609 Refrigerant Handling License requirements.
