Topics include a review of the principles of electrical circuits, electrical devices, the use of test equipment to diagnose malfunctions, and the examination of various Honda/Toyota computerized control systems. The course emphasizes the development of a systematic diagnostic and repair procedure. Also included is an introduction to Honda/Toyota hybrid vehicle operation, safety, service, and emergency response.
