    Part 1 (CCN Identical): This course provides an overview of art and architecture from the Renaissance to the contemporary period with a focus on art from Europe. The course will further consider global interactions involving this region. Part 2 (Local): This course is a survey of the visual arts in western civilization from the Renaissance to the Modern era. Emphasis is placed on representative art and architecture from the Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque, Rococo, Neo-Classicism, Romanticism, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, and Modernism eras. This course is intended for art majors and all students interested in art history, the humanities, and culture.
