Fundamental skills and techniques used by law enforcement officers in the regular execution of their duties are taught from a variety of different focus areas that may vary from term to term. Focus areas may include defensive tactics, weapons proficiency training, vehicle or equipment operation, arrest procedures, investigation techniques, organized crime enforcement, or prisoner control, among others. Focus areas are listed in the class schedule and student transcripts.
