Instructional theory, principles, and techniques are taught from a variety of different focus areas that may vary from term to term. Focus areas may include defensive tactics instruction, field training officer instruction, firearms instruction, police baton instruction, non-lethal chemical agents instruction, or emergency vehicle instruction, among others. Focus areas are listed in the class schedule and student transcripts.
