The course emphasizes the challenges and prospects of administering justice within a diverse multicultural population from the perspective of the individual peace officer as well as the broader perspective of the criminal justice system including the police, courts, and corrections. Subject matter emphasizes the major cultural groups in California and the community relations problems facing law enforcement personnel. This course is intended for students majoring in Administration of Justice or anyone interested in law enforcement community relations.
