    This course provides a hands-on introduction to relational databases in a Web environment. Emphasis is placed on hand-coding Structured Query Language (SQL), specifically MySQL. Students master an open source database editor, XAMPP, to create and work with a database. Basic PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) is used to bind data on a Web page. This course is designed for students studying web design and professionals updating their skills.
