Topics include an overview of real property concepts and characteristics; legal consideration; value influences; real estate finance; types of value; economic principles; real estate markets and analysis; and ethics in appraisal practice. Course content also includes the tools needed to properly collect and analyze market data including market segmentation and disaggregation; supply side analysis; demand analysis; and highest and best use. This course applies toward the State's educational requirements for the broker's examination and the real estate appraiser trainee examination, and as an elective for the real estate salesperson's license exam.
