Instrumentation includes saxophones, trumpets, trombones, piano, guitar, bass, and drums. This ensemble gives public concerts and focuses on developing skills in reading music, improvisation, and ensemble performance in a variety of Jazz styles. Attendance at rehearsals and performances is required. This course is designed for students interested in playing in a Jazz Big Band.
