Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis ensemble is open to any student experienced in music interested in performing Jazz big band repertoire at the beginning level. Instrumentation includes saxophones, trumpets, trombones, piano, guitar, bass, and drums. This ensemble gives public concerts and focuses on developing skills in reading music, improvisation, and ensemble performance in a variety of Jazz styles. Attendance at rehearsals and performances is required. This course is designed for students interested in playing in a Jazz Big Band.
