This course integrates the theoretical and technical content of the health information management program courses. Ethical considerations for health information managers and information management support for biomedical research are also discussed. Concepts are integrated and applied through the analysis of case studies and the completion of a capstone project, designed by the student or instructor, supporting a local HIM community of interest.
