- This course is the third in a series of swimming courses. Emphasis is placed on intermediate swim stroke development, open turns, head first water entry, and pool and open water emergency response. This course is intended for intermediate level swimmers. When this course is offered for three hours per week, the additional time is utilized for skill development.
