Topics include mouth mirror inspection for the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), basics of dental implants, teeth whitening, infection process of periodontal disease, and the types of dental instruments used in each specialty procedure. This course also covers the theory for the application of coronal polishing, as well as pit and fissure sealants. This course is designed for students enrolled in the Dental Assisting program.
