    This course is a practical study of the use and interpretation of construction plans. Students extract construction requirements from building plans and specifications to obtain information needed to install and direct construction, perform building inspections, prepare estimates, perform appraisals, and maintain buildings. This course introduces students to current construction practices, materials, terminology, project types, procurement methods, industry standards, contract documents, and career opportunities. This course is intended for students in Architecture, Construction Management, or Interior Design programs and others who are pursuing careers in these fields.
